I would politely take issue with this. :party-smiley-004: Having three seasons in mine, I have never seen this hull get unruly on the high end. Even when catching the rogue wave and flying the thing it remains in control. Mine is the side by side configuration, the staggered boat is even better from my experience in one. A 35' hull at 90 to 100+ MPH does require ones attention, this hull will out run anything in it's class, and in a very safe and stable manner. Would a 38 be better? Yes, but then a 42 would be better yet. |
My thoughts, i have an 07 35 with staggered 525's.
Engine package is great, reliable and the boat has ran 104 light on fuel with 6 blade Herrings. The cockpit is tight as with most smaller fountains however the new cabin is leaps and bounds ahead of what they used to be. The boat planes slower than some however when it gets up it accelerates quickly and what is really nice is you can cruise at 3000-3200 rpm at 55-60 mph if you want. I have not found it unstable at high speeds but i normally run the boat at 80-85 mph and it has very good manners at that speed. I am very happy with my 35, the full stagger boats are 100% better than the previous models (this is my 3rd Fountain) and if that's the size of boat and budget you are looking for i would recommend it. just my .02 Erik |
What rpms do these boat spin over 100......close to rev limiter?
|
On the limiter, I believe its 5350rpm.
