Default Coast Guard and the 47' thrill ride!!

Shot these guys from two different locations doing some pretty cool things with their boats. Fun to watch these guys in action. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did filming it!!

IIRC they replaced their whole fleet several years ago? The new boats are light years better than the old, plus they're self-righting.

Yep.. Been ther done that and got the T-Shirt. I did three years at Chetco/Rouge River with 44 MLBs and delievered the first 47 MLB in the southeast to Puerto Rico on her own bottom. Went through National Motor Lifeboat school in the winter of 1990. No surf in Puerto Rico for the boats anyway.
