For me being able to access the deck is a priority. Everytime I go out I need to anchor off the bow. I remember the first time I took my boat out and was shocked it didnt have a center cleat for anchoring. If you primarily boat on a inland lake or dock your boat then access to the deck isnt as much of a priority. It all comes down to what boat fits your needs. Another example is I would love to own a 28-32 Skater but with their lack of any type of cutty and small interior they dont fit my needs Like most of the west coast cat boats do.

Ahhh, but you went from an Ultra 26' deck to a DCB 30 deck.
Again... For you black sock wearing koolaid drinking DCB'ers, I am not bashing Dave's product. He builds a nice blingy boat if that's what you're looking for.

once again i agree with ya todd....if ur into bling..DCB is one of the best.... however look at the M35 dave has in the classifieds on here....462K... WOW.... Ron has a 368 Skater with 850scis for 399K... Give me the Skater....theres also a 368 2009 at bullock for less than that M35.... sorry dave...
