Philly boaters - Skaterfest or WIENERFEST!!
Not only will NJPPC be hosting Skaterfest II this weekend, we will also be hosting "WEINERFEST II"! For those of you who boat in the Philadelphia/Delaware River area, we will be hosting a raftup/cookout at Dredge Harbor on Saturday, May 18th from noon until 5:00 PM. It's open to all NJPPC members as well as those who may be curios or interested in joining. If you have any questions, post them here.

Hi Chuck, Hope The raft up goes great, are you coming over to Skaterfest Sun. George Linder keeps muttering (Lawn Dart) ala T2x. I have to give him credit for coining the phrase.

Good luck with your gathering. Hey, I'mm happy, it's NOT snowing!!!!! We had snow here on Wednesday. Anyhow, hope to see you Sunday and maybe take you for a rip!

well friends, Ill be on my honeymoon so I cant show up at weiner festII
but ill have a pina~coloada for you while im on the beach in the turks and caicos islands south of the bahamas!!!
(plus my freakin boat is a paperweight right now until I get the engines out, rebuilt and put back in)

Everybody gets another chance!!
Like dutiful die-hard NJPPC members, we went down to the marina on Friday , prepped the boat, made sure the raft, grille, food and refreshments were ready, test-ran the boat (first 2002 run), and put in for the night, looking forward to a fun day Saturday.
NOT! We woke up to pouring rain, high winds and forty-degree temperatures!!
Weinerfest had turned into "Winterfest" overnight. Even though the skies eventually cleared, it was not a good day for a raftup, so Weinerfest II(B) has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 25 from noon to 5:00 (or whenever).
Now Tantrum, AC, Philip, Shane, High-perf 2000, BajaBob38, Jayl38 - all you guys have no excuse to miss it. Mark it on your calendars - Saturday, May 25 - Weinerfest II(B)

Sorry dude,
Was on honeymoon and came back the 25th and since my boat is now high and dry and ripped apart im not going anywhere anytime soon.
Going to Pull Both engines next saturday and get them rebuilt so im hoping to have them back and reinstalled by July 1st
See you in a month or two

Maybe not on the scale of SkaterFest...
...but we had a great turnout on a GREAT day. There were at least 15 or so boats and 40-45 people that stopped by at various times during the afternoon. We signed up some new members, and handed out applications to several folks who were interested. Looks like it'll be a fun summer!
