Boy where do the years go?

It seems like just yesterday we were sneaking him on the race boat because he was under age.

He was always around the docks learning from everyone. Bottom photo shows young Charley sitting on the race boat at the Detroit race, listening to Willie Meyers (who just passed away yesterday) and Chuck Fogarty, share their experiences...priceless.

He loved fast boats, but he was a very good auto racer in his own right in the IMSA Endurance series.
