All 3 of those brands of tools are pretty nice really. I'd go with the Snap-On's given the choice, but would take a full set of any of them.

snap on the way to go , i been using box and tools for all most 20 years now. i do have some mac but you cant beat snap on, i think the quilty of the tools an boxes are great

I've long quit wrenching, and after seeing today's pricing on tools I'm damn glad I bought back in the 1970's and early 80's- I feel sorry for those having to buy today, and used but nice would be a strong recommendation.
My collection is almost all Snap-On, although many tools here at home, the farm, and the cabins up north are a hodgepodge of Sears and Mac/Matco. Snap-On always had the highest quality, IMHO....

I never gave much look at big boxes- they were worthless in aircraft hangars (although it was always fun watching new hotshots show up with them). The smaller, lower, and more mobile, the better; few will go under a jet's wings. They're pretty, but bump one of those big hogs into some guy's 45 million dollar aircraft and see how much he likes your box.
