The motors look like old Teague 740s. 509 motors, predecessor to the 800 and 800efi. They built quite a few of them back in the day. Call Bob Teague, I bet he knows something about the boat.

I have a '29 Wizard with upgraded drivetrain.
Can answer as much as I know, but if you have an opportunity to buy one, short of an Apache or Skater, do it. I love mine, hauls ass, solid excellent construction V that eats up the chop at 50+
