What is silly and stupid is that you are not allowed to pull wide loads on Sunday is some states. Before noon on Sunday is almost always the best time to pull due to the lack of traffic. You also have to love it when you get pulled over and they only ask if you have a permit but do not say anything about not having flagging and oversized signs on a boat that is almost 12 wide. It shows they are not worried about safety, just revenue from the permit.

From LOTO to Miami and back last year with Little Speed 39 MTI in tow; towed day and night; no signs and never bothered.

Length can also be a reason to need a permit, but unless you are as long as the wind turbine blades it is not quite as noticeable.

I like to run with "TA" plates. Makes me almost invisible going down the road!
