My boat on American Idol
 

Last night they aired the auditions for Amercian Idol in Milwaukee WI. The cameras were facing the judges overlooking Lake Michigan. My friend calls me to say you are on TV. He said I just saw your boat shooting a big rooster tail going by the harbor in Milwaukee in the background. If we had known we would have stopped and sang a few songs for Jennifer and Steven. It was a beautiful day in October when we ran to Milwaukee with Denis and his Top Gun and Kirk and his Hustler. It was warm and the water was flat.

Got it on DVR(I only watch it 'cuz Steven Tyler is Hilarious, and Jenny is kind ahot), at what point in the show was it, I'll look tonight.

That's funny, my wife and I were watching last night and I noticed a few powerboats hauling ass behind the judges, we even paused it a few times and watched them again!

Me too! I pointed out the boats ripping by to my wife and she asked me if I knew who they were. I told her there was a good chance they were on OSO!

Also, the first episode this year was shot at The Liberty House in Liberty State Park, NJ where we had our wedding. The day after our wedding they started setting up and the judges sat right where our Bride&Groom table was!

I am not big fan of the show although my wife is. We forgot to set the DVR. I have watched the first two shows mainly because of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. We really should have stopped to sing. Could not be any worse than some of the goofs that show up.

I saw you guys tied up when we stopped at the Horny Goat for lunch. I remember the weather that day quite nice for October. We ran past the Calatrava later on too, maybe I made the show, but I don't watch it either. I'm sure we'll run into you next summer! Steve

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. But it's the only thing I could find after 4 hours of watching American Idol videos on YouTube.

I had it on DVR and saw this thread yesterday. Watched the entire 2 hour show and never saw boats other than fishing and sail boats. If you figure out where it is let us know how many min into the show it is

Wife had it DVR'd also and I had the same results. I watched it until it got dark in the background.

I watched and all I could see was a blast of a rooster tail. It had some power behind it, but I couldn't see a boat?? It is in the left side of the shot behind Tyler and the hot one in the middle.

I am thinking the video was not as good as I hoped. My friend has a 58" watching the show in HD and saw the boat. I called him again as I still have not seen video and he did admit it was a brief shot. Oh Well. My 1 second of fame was distant and blurry.

You guys watch that show?

Just got done watching it.... Didnt see an MTI anywhere... Are u sure you were watching American Idol? Sometimes the older we get, the more delusional we get? idk... just sayn...U mite wanna go back and look at an (MTI), cuz they look very little like 18ft fishing boats w/mold on the sides and 40HP Mercs, cuz thats all I could see.....:kiss:

Nope, I watched the whole episode and could not make it out. Not saying it is not there, but could not see it. People slam this show, but it is good for a laugh just like some of the threads here where the flaming gets out of control.
