Reggie Fountain on RF Powerboats: "A custom boat company."
#32
Just a thought early on here but I to think the name RF Powerboats might be a little weak for marketing and advertising purposes. I realize the Fountain name is probably limited for usage by previous legal agreements, however now early on would be the time to spend a little more diligence and effort on a great name for what should be a great product. My suggestion would be to lose a little ego and use a better performance sounding and market savvy name.
My thoughts exactly.
"Real Fast Powerboats'?? Sorry, but that doesn't have the ring of a quality product, but more of a knock off.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster, why do you need a huge facility and hotel to build 6 boats? I would think he would be a little more careful with his money this time around.
Good luck though!

I think the hotel is a brilliant idea. I'm assuming there will be no extra charge for those picking up their boats or visiting to check progress. These will not be cheap boats and people with this kind of money need to be catered to.

I bet the property isn't a new purchase for him. Could be wrong be bet he picked it up over the years and probably paid off. Plus in this economy not really worth dumping for peanuts to downsize. Will make a good showroom for brokerage boats and for the size boats he's looking to build he'll need all the room he can get!

I wonder if there will be any R.F. towels to swipe at the hotel?
