Cool!
Saw that boat at LOTO a few years back and that sound will never be forgotten! It always started up really early and it didnt matter where you were at at TanTarA, you were wide awake when it lit. Best alarm clock money can buy! |

I wish there were some way I could have The Sorcerers' sound as my ringtone. :lolhit:
Just the baddest, most raw sounding boat I've EVER heard  |

I had the clip of Sorcerer as my ring tone a while back, but it sounded like crap on whatever phone I had at the time. You couldn't even tell what it was.
I'd like to try it again with my iPhone - I'm sure it would sound better. |
somebody has got to have a video :boat::boat:

I filmed the video that has the flyby soundtrack in 2001. I gave the video to Rod about a year later, and it ended up on his website. We filmed it in December on the Mississippi River in Dubuque. Rod and Rick from Arneson were in the boat, and they were haulin the mail. Had to winterize my boat twice that year.

Thanks for sharing, but the one that was on Rods website had both engines idleing not just the one. It was a sound that you'll never forget. I used to play it at least once a month during the winter months just to get a rush. Can anyone find the original sound from the website ??? And Yes Big Daddy, I would pay money to meet up with Orsino back in his old neighborhood again. He would'nt have to worry about a trip back west. :angry-smiley-038: |

Rod Tschiggfrie has built himself a diesel pickup now with a PSI blower and twin turbochargers. Check out the Feb 11 issue of Diesel Power Magazine, PG. 93
Google "Blowermax" and you'll find more info. The thing is making 80+lbs of boost and he's trying for 2000hp! The article says the PSI is "a remnant of Rod's offshore boat racing days." |
