Truck Problem

I'm in the process of giving my truck a much needed tune-up. So far I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. After doing this my truck now runs worse. I have checked and rechecked the plugs and wires and firing order and can't come up with the reason it is missing.

Anybody have any ideas.

You did not crack the plugs or cap did you. Also did you buy good wires if not that could be the cause. You might take a water in a spray bottle and spray it on wires and cap to see if gets worse. Also might check the coil.
Just A thought. :)

Problem found - sh!tty plug wires. Dug the old wires out of the garbage and put them back on - ran fine. Going to buy some better wires today.

Just out of curiosity - what brand were the bad wires. That way we can all steer clear at the auto parts store.

They were made by Wells.

Bought new set on Sat. and my truck now runs great. Go figure. Thanks Blueman
