The only thing I cannot figure out is when they show them first getting on the docks, it looks like chunks of ice everywhere. How did they not hit any and rip that eggbeater off?

(emerging from the shadows of lurking - intimidated by some of the hardware on this forum to post)
Those chunks of ice originally shut down our plan but then we noticed a duck swimming through them...they turned out to be largely slush and before we rode, I made a couple passes with the boat to push some away from our path.
