Hi Matt, my name is alan kranczoch, i run a small custom engine building business just north of toronto ontario (canada)
i have several clients with projects on the go or already completed... I am currently on the go with one of my own..
a cat, I'm into the oldschool stuff myself, partly because of the market availibility and price $$$, but more so because of the underdawg factor.
I find it much more impressive to see and older boat fly, this shows me creativity and inginuety, rather than someone just having too much money to throw at a boat.
my current project boat is a 1984 32' active marine tunnel /cat
(same hull as the 33 ocean express, and built by same builder) this boat is an all kevlar layup, and says I wanna fly all over it.
from her great lines and character to her huge tunnel, the boat just speaks to me and says feed me power, lots and lots of power, so thats exactly what i plan to do...
she will be rigged with a pair of (my) AKRACING 950sc's my 1350 transmissions, and a pair of hopped up mercury SSM 3A sterndrives (by sterndrive connections).
once i get the boat dialed in, and i aquire some additional funds, i'm planning to upgrade the outdrive system to
14" standoffs and #5's ...
if you are interested in tracking the progress of my project, drop me a line at [email protected], or call 905-722-6684 and I'll be happy to provide any and all details i can.
thank you, alan kranczoch www.akracing.ca

Default The Blue 32

Thanks a lot ALAN!!
I will be asking for your input while rigging these monsters. Motors have 750 lbs of torque with 800 horse. Our 1998 32 has the big step in it and we are spinning a 1.36 gear. Just for giggles, what type of mph do you think we will be turning? (just a ball park range)

Matt, This is not my project, but it is an awesome bit of work: Cafe Racer Transformation.
Having seen it in person, I can attest that it is of the very highest standards.
