They will be im sure building it with a full wrap around windshield.if you want.that would be an awesome look:bsflag:with the new hull design it will be much faster im sure.

I too wanted something differant, I figure if I can't afford to build a new cat, I would buy something more affordable. I was looking at the dragons for a while because of there looks, after my research I liked them because of the technology behind them and how there built, then after riding in one I was hooked, they ride much like a cat, and they love big water! At first I was going to cut the top off, but after being behind it for hours on a poker run, there is no way I would change it now. So what I did was mold a camera in the bow just above the eyelet, now I can sit down around docks and low speeds and see what's going on around me from a flat screen mounted in a custom pod just above the cabin door, also the camera has night vision which is cool, also molded in a rear camera in the canopy with a switch on the dash to choose front or rear view. Other things include the rear bussell that added 4 feet to the boat with a nice swim platform, got rid of all the stainless panels and vents and replaced them with carbon fiber. Changed the seats in the front, changed the rear light set-up, and front nav lights. The boat rides solid, no gel-coat or glassed stringers, and all high tech epoxy just makes it simply bullet proof with nothing to break. It is a killer boat and probebly on of the best kept secrets in boats. If anyone is thinking of wanting one, I would be more than happy to show you mine, and maybe, just maybe the new owners of dragon will help me do some poker runs so all of you can see one first hand!

I was working with Scott and Craig when the first line drawings of the Dragon came in to the office in Miami. We all looked an knew that it was way ahead of it time here in the states.
The technology was cutting edge as well, Full Epoxy layup with engineered stringers and Carbon reinforcements werenot even a pipe dream for mst builder except maybe Skater.
Over seas people love the design and performance as seen on the P1 racing curcuit where Team Arpro won their class in true offshore conditions every race.
As Scott mentioned earlier without a name like Cigarette, Outerlimits, Skater you have an uphill batter here in the states.
I know from recent conversations with both Giovanni and Scott that they are going to continue to make the GTMM 39 a beautiful and incredible performer.

I remember the build thread here on OSO and followed it every day. It was very interesting and informative to say the least. You might want to bring that back up here if that's still possible.

You can't blame the US market completely. Who was going to drop $300K plus on a no name boat? It was considered a huge risk at the time and still is to most people.
