we have a new engine that we can only tune the low hp stuff up to around 1800, and we need to find someone with a dyno that will handle alot more to tune it when we turn the boost up.
anyone have a dyno with dual water brakes?
anyone have anything with a very large water supply so we can do constant load testing for long time? minuites? hours? with out boiling the water?

Most Dyno's with a water brake wont hold that much hp,they will slip and give you false readings..
The only guy in the us that i know of that has a enursa Dyno that gives true hp and torque..
Mandolini Performance Dyno in villa park il,he is the designer and builder of the enursa dyno, his Dyno will hold 3000 + hp,he does alot of the nmca stuff, blown alchol engines.
630-782-0010 ask for fred..

Ours is rated to 2000 hp on the box but the manufacture said they have tested to 2500 hp with no issue
Mr. Fixx
I disagree to a point on the waterbrake not being accurate/slipping.I know you said most
Regular calibration and proper dyno room set up is crucial to the end result.
Crap in = Crap out, as with anything.
As far as hours Shawn I would rather be out in the boat

Tyson, we have a new dyno that we use to run all the twin turbo and nitrous engines that are pushing over 2000 hp. Last fall we ran a hemi headed 900+ cu. in. all motor engine for the camaro that did 2250. And a twin turbo 632 on alcohol that did well over the 3000 mark. If I can help ya, send me a pm.

Hi Frank,
Where in LaGrange are you and where is the dyno?
I used to live by you. Just curious.
Father in-law ran ChassieCraft and VFN fiberglass with Frank and Victor in Addison.

ours could not handle much till we made alot of modifications to it to make it not slip.
and slipping does not make it read wrong anyways just makes it so you cannot slow the engine down, it works on load against a cell not inertia which would read wrong if it sliped.
we are looking for someone with a dual stuka? or dual land and sea.
and it would help if it had 12 egt's
