Sealer for boat cover? and it's Snowing!!

This is the latest I have ever got my boat out of storage. I brought in home yesterday and now it is covered with snow! Anyway I need to reseal my boat cover had to wash it to remove lots of bird poo. The cover now leaks. What do i put on the cover and whare do you buy it from? It is a black canvas type cover.

thanks
Greg

Check the fabric and sewing stores around you. I picked up this stuff called Igloo, I think, in a small white bottle with a purple cap. It works great. I went for two bottles. You stick it in the washing machine, and out it comes, all sealed up.

I use Aquatite. You spray it on with a garden sprayer. Not cheap though, I think around $55 a gallon.

Go to Boat US or West Marine buy Starbrite Brand waterproofer.
I've used it and it works for about 2 season then just reapply.

The best way to do it is lay the cover down on Visqueen and take a foam roller and roll it on the outside of the cover. Make sure it soaks in real good.
Then hang if possible and let dry

It's not hard and it does work
