New Headers for 575sci's.....where?
Any good sources to purchase new headers for my 575sci's........ I will be inspecting mine this spring and may have to replace with brand new headers some time soon.......twin application so I will need two sets.....

I'd give my "opinion" but other OSO members will just rip me and tell me my opinion doesnt count,, bcuz i have no experience and that i should be in school.... So hopefully you get alot of good options...
Good luck..!!!:drink: |

For what it's worth, take them off and bring it long island propellors. I've heard only good things from them. Could save you a couple thousand bucks. Gave them my cmi's last month. Saw them finish up a big hp set of headers and the finished product was amazing.

I'd strongly consider going with the SM manifolds. Cheaper, close on the power, and wont have to worry about it again.

I just googled L.I. Prop and it doesn't mention any thing on there website about re-conditioning headers......they are in Middle Island ?
Actually just got off the phone with them. They do roughly 15 headers a week. Told him about your situation with the 575's and he said to give him a call-- no problem! |

Yessir, give them a call. I hear really really really good things about them. The most, and i mean absolute most to make your headers new is $300 each (from what he told me). If they are pretty clean, it can be as low as $100 each. He's an honest guy and will call you before he does anything. I know a lot of big hp guys use.

GL your not really Ser!ous :party-smiley-004:

The new CMI's have the cool collar and are much better than the Merc CMI's.
The tail pipe flange is different so you will need tailpipes too. |
L.I propellar fixed my headers. Awesome job! cant tell the whole collector was taken off and welded. Sweet job!
|
It does sound like LI prop might be worth looking into if folks have damaged headers. Any idea how they are with performance props?

I can't rely on the serenity, benediction, quasi-sainthood and ecclesiastical bliss involved in being the keeper of a Skater so I need the good performing sh!t.... |
Priced out the CMI E tops for my 575s direct bolt on. From Teague
$3500 or so a set. |
