Thanks for the pics Frank! Post as many in-water pics as you've got. The new camera is working out for you nicely.

The 7D is not for the novice, but it is an amazing camera body.

No, only the 5200 Roadster Cat and the Turbine V-bottom.

Big power, but thats been done before. We will have to see it the lower unit can survive. Also rememeber that they gear ratios and hydrdynamics of the current lower will limit it's applications on fast hi-perf boats. It was really cool, and I would love to see some specs on the lower unit, as well as a 'faster' lower unit. From what I saw they really did alot of homework, and it is an outstanding piece of engineering.

Final batch containing 62 pictures, are now loaded.

I had a really good time at the show. I saw some old friends, and made some new ones. My photo site (flicker) keeps track of how many times a picture is clicked on, at the flickr site. It does not count those that show up here on this board, or those looked at in the slide show, but it is still a good indication of which pictures you want to look at.

Tomorrow I will post the top 5 or so from the last 24-36 hours.

Hope you all enjoy this set of pictures.

Seven Marine makes the outboards

557 Supercharged Horsepower. They give all the specs on their web site.

Hope this helps.

The "Seven" is the creation of Rick Davis, 25 + year vet of Mercury Marine and the designer of the Optimax. Yes, he has done his homework. Lower unit has a dual input shaft displacing the torque by half. There is no raw water going though the aluminum 6.2 ltr. cadillac engine which is mounted horizontally. Gearing is all done by ZF and can utilize their joystick electronic control system. The only issue here is the price at around 54k each.

Three year warrantee by the way.
