I'm going with Excide marine batteries so I'll let you know how they hold up. I had Interstate in all my other boats and they worked great.

I need 4 of them.

If I order all 4, I get $52 off.

Interstates, die hards, and all the lead acids are pretty much made by one company as you indicated earlier there are only a few- Johnson controls

You'll find the diff between most standard lead acid brands is a sticker.

hi can you please tell me wot MCA means i am about to buy 2 batt for my merc 496 ho ?? i live in the uk , not worth searching USA websites i can get interstate in the uk but cant find that MCA letering in any of the ratings over here thanks paul
