Where are all the gauges?

Looks like she went for a good washing.

AIR TIME 02-21-2011 10:46 AM

it looks like it sunk, if so a total redo wiring to skins and motors. plus a slow ride with 375hp.

Gladhe8er 02-21-2011 11:55 AM

It not only looks like it sunk...it looks like it either stayed down for a while or was never rinsed off/washed after it was brought up.

Fixx

It could go either way,i could have sank but it is in Florida, the boat looks like it has been uncovered its whole life and the cabin door has been open and you guys know how Windy it can get in Ft laudable..Looks like its covered in sand which would give it the effect that the boat sank..Looks like someone was messing with the engines, maybe trying to get it running from sitting so long??

THANKS I thought all new it had twins ,its a slow boat heavy. 500s or 525s are sweet. I been on sonics before a friends 38 only did 76 with 750hps two. but knew a 35 with 850s that did 80 plus back in 1995.also new one that had merc old 540s that had 575hp in the 1980s. it ran good the new ones are nice.

Those are smartcraft gauges. They do it all. And, like everyone else, run from that pig. Do you think it would actually run over 60?

I guess it really doesn't matter in the end if your having to replace the engines but those don't look like 496's to me. It looks like 496 covers sitting on older non closed cooling motors. Am I just seeing things??

Needs some big time TLC.....

Wow, good catch. Yes look at the exhaust manifolds as well. Hmmm, now that you bring it up they look as if they may be 7.4l mpi 300HP! Maybe this was a repo and they swapped to fool the bank?

I was looking for the story behind this boat because I will no longer believe an auction seller again in my life! I have big bravo power sitting in my garage, so that is not the issue. The issue is if the used engines have any value, and if this thing has been on the bottom of the ocean or not.

Guess I will have to make a call to them and feel it out.

def not 496 mag ,but the boat looks like it could be good again ,got my boat from N/LIQ good luck paul from the uk
