We don't advertise our boat as a fish boat. It's a " go fast " center console w/ a huge cabin area upfront. WestCoast is correct again on the beam @ 8'6. Wide beam V-hull boats will never give you the ride that you'll get on our 41.
This picture was last fall on the 1st sea trial without the hardtop.

I see this all the time. What is 72 mph + ? I'm not talking anything about the boat you're talking about. I'm just wondering what people are talking about when they say 58 mph +, or 72 mph+. Does 72 mph + mean 72.2, or 72.6. It has to be under 73 mph or it would be 73 +. Or are people trying to make a certain speed sound better than it is ? Again, this has nothing to do with this paticular boat, I just see it all the time and I was wondering what other peoples views were on this. I don't mean any dis-respect to anybody, so please don't anybody take this as anything more than just an observation. Safe boating everybody.

Congrats on the new boat, I've been checking it out for awhile, and it is Sweet! I might be coming to the Lockheed Martin plant in Marietta this year, and if I do, I'd like to come by the shop and check it out in person. I'll send a PM if/when I headed your way.
Again Congrats!!
