Avance Boats
SubscribeI haven't heard or seen a lot about these boats but I have an opportunity to get one (not this one) at a good price.
Just wondering if anyone here have any opinions one them, their history, ride in the rough, etc.
Thanks in advance

Track down Ralph Barca,I think he is now selling boats in Florida for UNIESSE yachts. He was the builder of these boats.

The hull was popped from a 32 Scorpion. Avance was a well built boat. Bobby Falacara, who ran Scorpion with me in the mid 80's, built Avance with Ralphy. Dave (can't remember his last name) did all the paint work. Al from Flight did some of the rigging. The last time I saw the molds they were being called "Navigator."Originally Posted by sy goldberg

So I went ahead and bought the boat. It arrived last Tuesday but the weather has been really bad so I haven't taken it out yet. Will post pics when I do.
Looks pretty nice would like to see more pics inside and out
Awesome boat, handles the rough extremely well. That is my all time favorite CC. They came from the scorpion hull that originated from the 32 viper. Navigator, Catera all are the same boat. They're very hard to come by as not many were built. The company was around in the early 90's. Peter Roca last I heard had the mold. I've seen this one many times as it was a Miami boat and the only one I've seen with Yamahas. Actually I saw it running last week. Congrats

Yes same boat. I had I re-rigged with the Yamahas because of the hi rate of theft an low recovery with the mercs. What I loose in MPH I gain with piece of mind.Originally Posted by Premier Perf
