Is this a IMP Eleganza 260 ?

Does not appear to be 26ft? Never heard of this IMP model before and I think the sale lot is wrong on the listing?

1990 26' with one motor?

I have a 1989 235 Eleganza. I do know they built a larger model and have seen one. I am not sure if it is a 25, 26 or a 27. For some reason I thought it was a 270, but not sure. Mine is around 24 feet including the swim platform. I am pretty sure the one I saw was also a single. To get twins in the era, you would have to go to the 31' which I think was a Viper and I think it is a true 31 foot boat.

Had a buddy that had an IMP that looked very similar if not the same as the boat in the pic. I don't believe his was 26' long though. I'm thinking his was in the 22-23' range.

Any chance they misrepresented the length of the boat?

Buck

There is a good chance that the boat is misrepresented...The sale lot where the boat is at does this all the time...

I know when they made the 235 Eleganza, they also offered a 255 with twin small blocks and a 310 with twin big blocks.

We were a dealer for IMP in those days and never saw or heard of a 260.

Here is what a 255 looked like.

Yes this is the 255. Same boat my family had when I was a kid. You actually could special order them with twin big blocks in the 255. Ours had twin small blocks but our neighbor at the lake had a black/teal one with twin big blocks

After looling at the picture some more, the only difference I see between the boat in question and my boat is the windshield and it does not have the side thru hole exhaust. I think it is a 235. The E Dock in question is the world famous E Dock at Cherokee Yacht Club on Grand Lake in Oklahoma.

I think you are right Stan. Looks like a 235 without the side exhaust and different windshield.

There is only one true E-Dock for those that don't know.....
