If you called your insurance company and said I want to insure this boat for x amount of days what whould they say??In the event you cause damage?

Yeah but you started the policy with the intent of never buying it.........fraud. Then ins. carriier googles "rented Cigarette" and it comes up with this thread and they deny any claim by arguing you rented the boat not "bought it." Great boat but not worth the risk for a two hour ride on a poker run.
