Sounds like a waste of money.

They have a 5 year warranty in most cases.

They have to be shredded. The government wants them shredded. I cant even keep one for my self. They are watching the shredding as its done. I believe its against the law to own a vest. Up to 5 years in fed prison if not a military or police use. Thats what the HS guy is telling me.

Its only against the law for convicted felons to own them.

I always put my plates in a good bag then put them back in my IBA to keep the sweat and water and junk from ruining them. They get really soft once they get water on them.

Try any concrete plants or concrete form companys, they use glass fibers in the mix for strength.

Just called a concrete co. They might be interested.

Some neat suggestions on here, but are there no rules with the contract.....as in the kevlar may be sold but the vests themselves cannot be passed on to others ???
Cant imagine H S lets you pass these things on to just anyone.

If you can, I'm sure there are some police depts in Mexico that could use them.

Do they not have H S printing across the back of them in big letters ??

good idea too.

Call the people that make spec mesh. They know more about it than a concrete company.
Give it to them rough and let them worry about size and gradation ( if in fact it will even work )

Hey Cat, just called them and they buy it by the train load. lol The guy did tell me to try a horse track. They use it as a binding agent to help with the clay.
