Default magnum 27 multese question

Im looking to buy a 27 magnum multese and I was hoping you guys could help me with questions about these boats.
This boat has twin 350s with the omc drives, How are these drives as far as reliable? will they hold up to modified 350s with blowers on each motor or should I just leave the motors stock? How fast are these boats stock with the omc drives? How do these boats handle in all around use? I will post pics as soon as I get the boat in my possesion. Thanks for your time. Any info would be great.

If it's a 27 it's a Starfire, not the Maltese. Maltese is the standup 28 like the one Bobby Sheer is selling in the Classic section..

daves, then it is a sport, not a maltese.
Get an HIN. There have been knockoffs of this boat, and you would not know it.

those drives will not handle more power, speed might be in the 60s. you will need to do a bravo or konrad set up. for more power. read up about the modern 27s built over sea's in the magnum section. mange had a nice single that ran high speeds.

OMC drives are a JOKE on a performance boat.
