What is the price range that people are paying for Poker Run entry fee around the country? Just the entry fee.

There are a couple in VA (jammin on the james, american cancer society) that are $375 plus slip fees. Both runs use 100% volunteers with all proceeds going to charity (Shriners, ACS)

JOTJ saw a 15% increase in attendance, selling out 120 spots several weeks before the event, ACS was a new event from the ashes of a previous one and pulled about 70 boats.

Desert Storm in Havasu is $375 pre reg or $500 after
And Monster Bash is $175

If you are wanting to compare apple to apples you need to ask what's the entry fee include.

From some of the posts, it's just the entry itself where as the entry for another includes lunch/dinner/band, etc.

If that's not what your after, ignore my post :D

No agenda here, just curious. But yes some offer more stuff for the money.

All Florida Powerboat Club events are $550-750 (for boat and two people). But you also must be a club member $250+ annual fee. Lunch and Dinner is included with a couple t-shirts, run video and a still photo. Dockage/hotel not included.

Patriot Poker Run
 

The Patriot Poker Run is only $150.

That includes 2 T-Shirts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners, and a DVD.

Like others mentioned, it all depends on what you get. Picts, Shirt, your hand, riders cost, food, dockage, etc. Lot of variables. Each event has Pros and Cons.

I am doing my taxes so I just ran across the 2 checks:

Jammin' On the James - $411 - included the second night slip fee.

American Cancer Society, Norfolk, VA - $515 - Included Both Friday and Saturday slip fees.

NYC was usually $650 and included; dockage, basic dinner party the night before and lunch the next day. Movie and pics were extra.

AC was around $1100, included dockage, breakfast the morning of, 4 course dinner party and breakfast the following day and some free stuff. There was a 2nd day option for more if you wanted to. Movie and pics were extra.

Both gave 2 T's lunch dinner and a DVD... The ACS Run ( Powerboating For a Cure Poker Run) Had a party Friday Night also, Jammin has one HE77 of a DOCK PARTY :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

$450 for the boat and 2 people.

1 goodie bag (each had a Gift Certificates for approx 20-30 dollars plus) & 1 dvd

Will be happy given the current economic times if I can even leave the house this year! "Have cooler will travel"!

p.s. let's not loose concept as we discuss "what does each poker run offer", as in many cases this should be about the Charity of the Foundation. Be safe and let's hope for a great boating season!
