So for 950K you get molds and tooling that needs changed and the rights to the logo but no buildings or land.

I think if I had 950K to start something this would not be my choice.

After seeing jasons boat run here in Md, i think the hulls show promise, retool the deck and come out with something cool in the 43 and 46 range.

Now Nortech is very much at the top and Terry has a lot to do with that. Anybody that buys the company needs to add some boats and bring back the lower deck GT not just that huge thing.

They still built the GT when ordered but what they really needed to do was bring back the 32' It needed a redesign but they needed some type of entry boat I was on them along with many others to do this and they just would not revisit the 32'

I did not not know that was Darr LOL That would be a great way to burry what is left of the company LOL

The best thing would be for some current boat builder to buy the molds and modify them (Update) and ad it to their offerings instead of trying to build a boat that is only one length. Those days are gone

That last suggestion sounds like the way to go, by having someone with a current facility to ad to existing line.

One thing for sure, some peeps must have enjoyed the gentlemans product or it wouldnt have existed for 25 years.

The last thing he deserves is to have his efforts hacked apart by anyone.
Someone that is 78 and has existed in this chitstorm of an industry at least deserves some respect.

We have witnessed enough people leaving the business by leaving a total mess behind them.
I wish him the best.

Sounds like "Frisini" needs a luxury cruiser line.......

You could splash a hull a lot cheaper than 950K if you really wanted that design/idea. I hope for 950K you get the mold for this one too! http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2008.../United-States
