The JP Incident[Video]....
Freeze Frame is known as being the premier Offshore photo and video outfit, and contains within its libraries most, if not all, of the best moments of Offshore Racing caught on film.
That being said, and knowing that Jeff is such a superbly nice guy -- judging from all the kind words spoken about him -- I would trust that he would have it in his heart to part with a few short seconds, a half minute maximum, of footage. I see that he is an advertiser on OSO. Wouldn't it be nice to make the incident, which generated so much controversy and speculation available...Something to add to Offshoreonly's Exclusive Video library(with credits, of course)................ |
:D :D :D

Yes....Yes...everybody would be a winner with that idea...that is a good idea...but I really don't care how I see it...:)

Thanks Guys! TTT:cool: ;)

So how 'bout it Jeff? Enquiring minds want to know!:D

Originally posted by Shane So how 'bout it Jeff? Enquiring minds want to know!:D Entertainment Tonight called him about the footage. He told them no as well. He doesn't want any problems, and after we discussed the issue, I agreed with his decision and advised him not to become the petri dish for the current laws that govern intenet downloads because a major celebrity is involved. As I already explained on the other thread, internet downloads are not considered broadcasts - right now. But, this issue is in the courts as we speak regarding internet radio "broadcasts" and royalties. This is business, and sometimes it's not fun. Best regards and happy boating. Jennifer |
Thanks Jennifer! :)

That's great news.
Thanks again Jennifer and of course Jeff! I think that would be great to have a variety of clips and shots as part of OSO...It can be only mutually beneficial. I guess this particular piece of footage is the rage lately and he can't just throw it around loosely. Oh well...OLN on Saturday it is...... :) |
notice i was oddly silent :D

Jen, Thanks for the kind words.
Having just watched the the JP incident: "Its a boat not a ****ing NASCAR" -puder |
We watched the "accident" repeatedly at Skaterfest........ with some pretty savvy racing minds. The JP boat chopped (cut off) Jaws, then ran through Reverie's rooster tail 20' off her stern, before finally spearing Wood's boat. The JP boat never began to turn, never backed off, never took any evasive action. It was almost as if both guys were rooting around on the floor looking for a lost cel phone, or dialing around on an FM radio looking for a better music station. In short the other teams realized they were at a turn and the JP crew didn't.................This has to be the worst single piece of driving I've ever seen....and I've seen them all.
They should be beached until it's proven that they have developed some semblance of skills....Given that Campbell has been racing for over a decade.....the odds of those skills arriving anytime in the future are pretty slim. My advice to other racers...stay at least 50 yards away from these guys...at all cost and for God's sake don't break down in front of them.... Maybe JP can't see over the dash...................... C'mon T2, tell us how you really feel:D
He never did turn though:rolleyes: |

Take it from someone who knows first hand T2X is right on the money. The scary thing is knowing what Campbell is willing to do and has already done to other Superboats  in order to win! |
JP's boat came out of no where on the inside before the crash in the turn. Clearly the throttlman screwed the pooch by not backing off, but how do you justify the ridiculously steep (inside) angle of approach into the corner? That is the fault of the driver, not the man on the sticks. It takes two to tango in separately controlled race boat.

T2x,
Thank you very much for the in-depth analysis. |
Hey you guys I have a novel idea.... Instead of trying to get the thing for free, why not help Jeff out a bit and buy a copy. I tell ya you guys this footage is the best yet. He has been listening to the critisisms from people and has really made some great changes in his editing.
