We ordered ours from Brad Schoenwald with Tres Martin Performance. Easy deal, pick your colors, sizes and logo's your done. Lifeline actually will customize the jackets to match your boat.

I have one of the Sterns SAR's. Nice jacket. Maybe not quite as comfy as some of the lifelines I've seen, however the construction on it appears to be good quality and it does have leg straps. Like one of the earlier posters....my boat does well under 100...top end is 70 and most times I'm cruising around 50. Lifeline's are nice indeed...but at a serious price premium.

Hi!

I did have a Lifeline jacket for a year (offshore race version), but it does not turn an unconcious person around in water. This does http://www.frode.se/Jackets_eng/Pro%...20English.html

Appears to be a very nice jacket! Are they coast guard approved and are they race approved in the United States? The fact that they will turn someone over is a big factor.Any idea how much in the U.S. they will cost ?

As I have stated in some other threads , the chances of your survival in a crash over 100 M.P.H. are slim to none !If you do ,you are one lucky S.O.B. Most of the guys racing out there have crash helmets ,Big dollar life jackets and other safety gear on. What are you going to have on ,Board shorts, Sun glasses and a gold chain ?In my opinion too many people on this forum take too lightly that speed on the water can also kill, just like on land...... Just a matter of time before some one gets killed going 130 and the insurance companies say ok that 's all were not going to cover any of you guys anymore .....I know preaching to the choir!!!!!!!

HI!

The Frode' Jackets are in accordance with the UIM rule book and approved by the Swedish Powerboat Association for International Racing.

If I remember correctly I paid approx. USD 700 incl tax and freight. I will check and come back to you. They freight all over the world. Very very nice quality. The vest has a built-in back reinforcement too.
