I can see your side, but more than anything I feel like the $1200 spent on the proper jackets for the application is $1200 worth of peace of mind.. Id love to go drop $80 on a handful of seadoo jackets but the stress of owning a cat is already high enough without having to worry constantly about cheap jackets too. My question was posted to try and learn what all lifeline "type" jackets are available since google wasn't doin me any favors..
Price is a concern, but more than that would be tryin to keep my dumbass friends from using a $300 jacket as a floatie at party cove! lol!

Ive been lookin around on Google and havent found any racing jackets that seem to be of similar quality to the Lifeline brand.
Does anyone have experience with any brands besides them?
All i can seem to find are "high speed lifejackets, perfect for todays PWC's and performance bassboats"

Sterns also has some SARs (search and rescues) with leg straps. Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is equal to a life line. Hopefully you scrub off enough speed in a spin or blow over before you need a 100 mph impact. Something that you and crew wear is more important.
