Skaterfest (simple math )
 

Just walked in from a lovely 16.5 hour drive.... with a wife that can no longer talk. .. lost her voice on Sunday...and have come to one very simple conclusion

That's how we travel, Fast & furious. We went sun night & all day mon. Left this morning @5:30. Just got home said hi & goodnight to the kids & BOOM he beat me to OSO.:p

HI guys, Kim and I thought you guys were great. It was a pleasure to meet you both. Bet you couldn't wait to see the Skaterfest comments, Is that why you cut your trip short? You should have taken a Lap Top to check the board. You see, all of those things you heard about the rude people from NJ were not true. Glad you enjoyed Skaterfest.

It was a 2 pronged effort to get home...oen to see what was going on on OSO , and 2 had to get our butts to work , my next boat isn't gonna come cheap:)

Actually, Mars is in Pennsylvania, where they don't have "jug handle" turns. That's probably why you got the strange look...

Glad you guys had fun anyway. Sorry (In a lots of ways) that I couldn't make it. It would have been nice to meet you all.

It was nice to have met you two as well. Glad to hear you got home okay and had a good time. I grew up (well I was raised, I NEVER did GROW UP!:p) in northern jersey, and it never ceases to amaze me all the "jug handles" and U-Turns etc.. Kris and I were talking on the way home how HAPPY we are to live in upstate NY now where we don't have any congestion problems. We loved the trip and the friends, new and old, (some Too Old :p ;))and the hardware was AWESOME as well. It was wonderful to put faces with the names here on the board. Nasty and nebulous were AWESOME and we look forward to seeing you again soon.:D :D

Know what you mean about those left turns. That was my only (and very minor) complant. Very much balanced out by all the cool natives!

Thanks for being such good sports in the frigid air......we could have gone a lot faster.......but frost bite was not an attractive option.

You want to know something funny.... Because of all those "jug handles" it took over 18 hours to get to our hotel, yet almost 2 hours less to get home from further up north.:eek:
We're having a party on the 1st of June, if anyone would like directions {minus jug handles} let us know....:p

P.S. I would gladly do it over, to see y'all again, even in that weather.:D

Nasty and Nebulous , I was just wondering from seeing your "Furious" emblem , I assume you had one of those cool looking Fords in the lot ? WHich one ? Mine was the plane jane white crew cab on the end . There was some sharp trucks as well as cool boat ! Nice meeting you both . JOE

I only got one question. How come the only intersection that didn't have a damn "jug handle" was the one to turn left to get to Pro Marine????? Had a great time, guess we should have stayed for the rides on Sunday:D

T2x that was plenty fast for those conditions... and to get a very good sample of what the Skater boat is all about.... and the people behind them... both behind the wheel and the factory/set-up crews..ever see the movie "Dumb and Dumber" I just had a visual of us all comming back with frozen snot stringers.....:D
