I have always liked that Scarab that Nigel Hook had .... it was a 43 footer ... called an ultra-slim ..?

30 Phantom is a single and handles well.. not sure on the beam .. probably 8ft

Go with a Superboat Y2K 30ft. Great boat, just sold mine wish I didnt, with the gas prices.lol.

+1- love my y2k cc, y2k hull would be great choice for the gulf

+1 for the 30 phantom, but I am a little bias. Beam is 7'2
