Good salon quality beds start @$5000.00 and go up. stand ups start higher, but it's not whether it's stand or lay, it's the kind of bulbs.....

Ok Tbikini, whats worse, a little tanning bed to get something going, or going out in the first sunny day when your white as a sheet, after something called WINTER and burning to hell, and sunscreen washes off in the lake and sweats off and you cant get every little spot etc etc. One topic that comes up frequently up here is how to prepare for a holiday in the Caribean when your right in the middle of winter and have been bundled up for five months and have no tan at all..........and I thought fake baking was.........oh never mind

Maybe there's a local tanning salon near you that has one you can try. It may cost a little more, but it's worth it to me...no smiles here!

yep... the straps at the top are a must ...
.. all kidding aside...I do the same as Cat... its really the only way to get that all over tan...

Well well well........I got everything from getting stoned, smoking, cooking and orgasm all in one thread! Very interesting I'd say.
Yes, i've tried several of the above suggestions but I guess I don't flip over in the bed as much for as long
Boobs get burnt if I lay on tummy. Get too red for days in the standup. I guess
J. Lo booties weren't meant for laying flat on those damn beds.
I think I'll just sit on it the next few times

You're funny this morning! I never lay on my tummy either for the same reason. I just kind of flip around and alternate positions to get everything even. Can't do the stand up's for either... It's not relaxing to me. At least in the bed I can doze off a little and just lay there for 20 minutes of kid-free, stress-free time.
