Why would someone choose a 38 TG over a 39 TG?

Why would someone choose a 38 TG over a 39 TG?
There are some big power 38 top guns in the classifieds, but why would you pick a 38 over a 39? Does one hull run better with big power and 6s then the other?

I'm sure Joe can come on and answer that question himself since that's his boat but for most, the 38 is an option for less money and usually are powered with XR's and smaller power.

Both are great boats. 38 runs and looks great, 39 is faster more power options, it does cost more. BTW - Pier 57 has a great looking 2011 38 saw it at the Cig factory last week.
Either way you can't go wrong with a Cigarette.

Is the 39 a different hull? lengthened 38? other then length what is different in the running surface? Just curious really, both fantastic boats either way.
