Default St Lucia pics from helicopter
1) The helicopter that took us for a half hour ride to the airport that takes 1.5 hrs by car. Hard to imagine with the island being less than 30 mile long.

2) the coastal area just to the south of Rodney Bay where we stayed

3) New hospital being built

4) Grand Peton's

5) The Atlantic surf off the east end of the airport runway

Default Now posting from Canada, brrrr
1) We passed over an active volcano and could smell the sulphur and see wisps of white smoke. Not sure just why they allow a road to run thru it, but they do.

2) New stadium being built

3) Atlantic surf

4) Airport

5) Coming in for our landing.

We flew into St Lucia in the daytime. I thought the pilot was going to put us down in the water. After the landing he tells us that plane is the biggest allowed on that runway, thank God for seatbelts.

Awesome adventure Bob. You may have discussed this in a previous post but do you film any video of the boat running in that beautiful water in those exotic locations? If not I would love to see it.

Robert, I had 2 Go Pro cameras with me and did not bother to get them out. Don't know what I was thinking as that would make for some great video. When I return in April I will be sure to do that.

Just realized that while I did not film any video this last week in the Islands I do have a collection of 10 You Tube video's posted. Some from the BVI including the poker run there last May, OSO Expat running his Tiger, some from Florida Keys as well as running thru the mangroves south of Marco. I will get some Caribbean when I return next on April 15th for more.
