Thanks for posting those pics, Hans. I had not seen them until now. Brings back some great memories from not that long ago. You and Marc as well as James earlier made for a great crew. Lots of laughs together.

If you put a cost to boating it takes the fun out of it.

Id say leave this one alone, he might end up cancelling the rest of the trip if he sees it on paper. I, for one want to see the grand finale!

I wasn't going to touch this one but since I am a bit curious myself did a bit of math this morning. With shipping to and from St Thomas, dockage, lift out / storage when not there, trailer storage, fuel, hotels, meals and airfare for 3 trips so far it looks like I am just over $ 30 K. There will be another trip for the BVI poker run to do yet before wrapping things up. If I were like the sailors and ate sandwiches or at McDonald's instead of the Beach House, anchored out and stayed on the boat instead of a marina / hotels etc could probably shave about $ 8 K off that. Not so sure I should have done the math now. LOL

And, yes it has been worth every penny of it.

Bob

Honestly, I think for what you have done and the way you have done it, $30k is less than I would have expected. Awesome boating for sure!

Bob-
It had to be less than that....Remember the money you saved by filling up at the fuel barge in Bequia

Thanks for the numbers Bob! And believe me, I know you can;t put a price on boating, just ask my mechanic. Anyway now I have a target to start saving up for. May only take me about 10 years, but it will be worth it
