Boating Footwear

what boating footwear seems to be working the best on paint & gelcoat ?? socks are awfully slippery & the bare feet tend to be a lil hottt specially for the gals ...tried the croks once and threw em in the river
thnx :drink:

It's bare feet in my boat.

That's why god invented Bathroom style "bath rugs", RHR, bcuz you place them on the deck and rear of your boat so your guests can enter and leave w/ flip flops or slip on shoes,, then you roll up the RUGS,,, and away you go....!!!!

Once inside the boat,,, lots tend to remove their shoes, along with other things......:drink:

My .02

Sperry makes some nice tennis shoes... non marring, good traction, designed with decks in mind..

phragle 04-03-2011 03:27 PM

if your not concerned about stylish...hospital socks. fit in your pocket, good gription, as they are designed to keeps patients from slipping

:lolhit: Sperry makes the docksiders that arent supposed to scuff. Ive worn them and I have seen it on other boats for years not leaving a trace. Not even a white scuff.

Ive got my pair for going out to dinner on the boat!!:drink: plus they are comfortable!

With your boat I would say bare feet! Cant wait to see it on the Mississippi river for the poker run. But we go with crocks or water/aqua sox's from overtons. Amy just uses a cheap PINK pair of flip flops she found somewhere that are really soft and dont make marks.

We have a 30 ft boat so maybe not as long as yours but I was planning on getting some rugs like PokerRun suggested this year.
