Not mine, I'm the driver in the pic in my Checkmate.

Has this ever happened to you???

Here's the scenario.....

You stop at a red light in your brightly painted, loud, hot rod Mustang GT or Camaro - girlfriend in the passenger seat. A Saab turbo pulls up next to you with a yuppie driver, window up and AC running. He gives you the eye just before the light turns green...You figure this will be easy and you let the yuppie jump you out of the gate. Then as he's pulling you hard through second gear you grind the crap out of third while sweating bullets trying to get around the guy. Finally you barely pull ahead just before you get to the next light. Then, you make up some mechanical BS story to your girlfriend on why you didn't blow his azz clean off the road.

My dad was riding on the back seat that day on the poker run and he's 260#
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I can't believe the bow lift on that thing, did he have surface drives?

Part of the reason I like the idea of a cruiser this year is I hope I won't have to wrench on it.....that one looks like it requires some wrenching

I thought this one would be great for Florida all the way up here. Close to 60 mph with twins, it's a bowrider, cockpit galley, pretty large cabin.

The last two years, some of these builders have done some serious rethinking. I love the cockpit galley, and what they done for cabin room.

She is not a big fan either, and no disrepect but I see you have a 26 outlaw in you profile. Not sure if you still have that, but for us that size go fast is our all time least favorite boat. No room and they don't stay in the water. Have been down that road twice.

It hasn't made it out of the indoor starage yet in New Hampshire for the vessel/powertrain surveys and the sea trial.
The insurance I was quoted came in a little over a 1000 per year.
It really sucks that I talked to the seller Saturday and he said they'd had 18 more inches of snow the night before, now it could be mid May before it's available to be gone over.

4bus, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to go off topic and hijack your thread. Personally I'd love to own a 40'+ diesel Mainship performance trawler and any 35'+ OL. NorTech, Cig etc.. to truly enjoy both worlds in.
But, I sure don't see that happening, LOL!!!

See ya,
Kelly
No worries, I hijack threads all the time
