Jim valykeo did the work tyler supplied his cam set up and some other various parts. As far as the drives not sure yet looking at scx's I talked to brett he's done alot of props for me and for now we are going to run 4 blades with alot of slip.That's what I had on my old boat with 702 hp but that was only 8000 lbs.So for right now i'll have to run like a sally lol.

The short block was left all stock. I checked the bearings when the pan was off for the cam change. The heads are a new designed pro one head that is targeted for marine or high torque application. Chamber volume was left at the out of box 121 cc's. The new intake port has a smaller cross sectional area at the flange and maintains airflow (400 cfm @ .700 ported). Port height 2.1" 1.75 wide so the port velocity is increased substantually. The goal was to increase power with the cylinder heads and blower mods, without having to overdrive the blower. Porting the blower did improve efficientcy. First pull was about 4 psi and 670 hp @5600 with the stock pulley. Stock, the pressure was 4.2 lbs.

Again I can't say enough good things about Jim. Jim the first pull was @5200 and 670hp the second was @5400 and 680hp thats when the fun began and we knew the motors wanted more boost.So if I had to guess if we would have run the stock pulley up to 5600 it would have been somewhere in the 700hp range. The only thing you forgot what price range for the work done. I am running 575sci with Teague superchillers would love to make these types of improvements and see what happens.

I love it when new guys come on here and post they had all this work done and how great their numbers are and then say oh give him a call. Almost like a cheap advertisement. I'll put my motors up against yours on a dyno anyday and I bet I make just as much if not more than your overworked mills. Have a nice day and thanks for the info.

Hold on, these are not new players. Jim V's heads have made power for many engines. Lots of good options for 575 upgrades today. Crockett, Gellner, Hot To Go, and others have figured how to make 750+hp with stock induction.

Not sure I would offer that dyno challenge, but you know I love the 575's too.

Come on, that's pretty stout power.. Almost as much as you'd make with a set of out of the box AFR's and a Procharger..
