Are there any other fees associated with this? When would you do the dunk test?

Dunk test is usually done the day before or two days before the race.

Props to you Steve all animal shelters are full to overflowing in this tough economy. You da man!

Is this for interactive participation, or just a ride? Is it during a race, or just open water? What days/times are available?

I just sold my Step-dad's 38' Scarab for him. He lives in Venice Beach, FL. I'm sure he would be interested regardless of the parameters, but it may help to add some details in your listing.

Steve Im not sure if ebay will pull the auction as it is not a tangable object. You might have to reword it like race footage of you driving /nav/throttling a race boat something like that. Great idea, great cause, good luck. Jo

The Humane society I think has Ebay's permission they are hosting the auction.

you guys should jump on this as an incredible opportunity and a great cause....Steve is not only one of the nicest guys in the sport, he is one heck of a competitor that can get that boat running like no one else can.....that sucker was hard to catch at the '06 Key West worlds..... would have caught him if he had taken his signature cigar and lighter with him in the boat on that race.........too bad I can't post a picture that I have of that race.......

I will put something in the pot Steve.
While it's not as exciting to drive as Steve's race boat. the winner can get a ride and drive around the Anclote island and the light house, stop at one of Steve's favorite place, in the Tikki bar, (next to Catches) and I will flip for lunch or dinner, (based on schedule)
