Browns Point Park in West Milford is where they have all the concession stands and the pits. That's probably the only public place you can get a good view from.

How cool is that?!
I grew up in Vernon and dad kept our boat on Greenwood Lake when I was a kid. I have such fond memories of that area. I had no idea there ever was racing on that lake.

Hey guys we spent all day setting up the park today and its looking great. So far we have 50 registered boats to race in and handful of different classes. We have a beer stand, food concessions and a few boat dealers showing up. So if your in the area or not far please come out and support us.
Gates open at 10 am sharp and racing starts at 12 noon.
Admission is:
10.00 per adult
5.00 per child 12-17
under 12 is free.
FREE PARKING
If you keep your wristban on for a Sunday return admission is half price.
You can also purchase a pit pass wrist ban that gains you access to the pits so you can mingle with all the drivers and see the boats up close. This will cost an extra 10.00 but is good for both days.
So as you can see its a very cheap weekend so bring the whole family and come se some white knuckle racing on the beautiful Greenwood Lake located in West Milford NJ.

Also the Nation Aerobatics competition will be going on at our local airport just 2 mile away from this event. So keep your eyes in the sky or take a ride over to Greenwood Lake Airport and see the excitement.
If any one comes out from this site look or ask for me I like to meet members. I will have a safety green event staff shirt on running around like a mad man.

Thanks for all your hard work Anthony. I'm planning on being on the water with some friends all day on Saturday and having a few while we watch the races but if the weather is lousy on Sunday you might see me in the pits on Sunday. I've been spreading the word over on this end of the lake.

What a weekend at the APBA Races !!!
The weather could have been better but the volunteers managed to get the races off on both days.
Sunday had a 1.5 hour delayed start due to fog.
They got a window of opportunity from about 1:30 to 4:30 and got all of the races in just in time for the next rain shower.
All in all, the weekend was a success.
After all, there were a few Offshore people there that donated their time to help get this event back on the lake after an 11 year absence.
Some key people I really need to thank is Anthony Rogasich and his entire family. They hooked me up BIG TIME this past weekend. (Pics to come if I get permission! )
Sean & Cathy Rice with their efforts all at the event and Paul "HOTBOAT" for an incredible meal he prepared for all of us at the end of the day on Saturday !!!
I would also like to thank the Lake Hopatcong group and the Greenwood Lake guys that all came together to make this happen.
I was glad not have missed this event.
Met a lot of new great people from all over the country as well as Canada.
Many have already been asking if I could attend other events coming up.

I will post some as time allows...
