APBA Poker Run Rally in Savanna on July 3 - 7....

Is anyone planning or thinking about attending....?

Since I will have time to socialize...
I would like hang with some OSO'ers..
and have a little get together....

There was athread on hotels in Savannah for the race and poker run but I can't find it, need to go ahead and book rooms. Anybody have the link?

Hey,Fred ride with us, the 38ZR should be finished by then, I've got 5 Lifeline Poker Run vests that will be shipped with it,can you wear an XL?

It is the Donzi38ZR,a few delays as they get further along,the original engine hatch would not clear the staggered 575SCi's so they are doing anew one. Just heard that Shanghied Again(Frank Civatanos) 38ZR ran 117mph but needs a little more dialing in, this is an exciting project for me .Looking for 100 mph,latest word is maybe 105 on my boat,I'll keep you posted, and yes you can have the XL vest

I will have more details about the run later today or tomorrow. the host hotel for the poker run is the westin and i will have a group rate of 159.00 per night as soon as we finalize the contract. you will need to say you are with the low country powerboat club to get the rate, they also have 600'of dockage which is the most of any hotel on the river. if you arent bring the boat and wish to stay in a hotel or condo on the beach (where the races will be sat and sun) call me and i can get you a contact for that. thanks...Russ Floyd 912-313-8686

Billy. i think we are staying at the westin thurs and friday night but you are welcome to stay w/ us sat night. that is the plan right now but it may change. i can also get a good deal on a tybee condo. maybe we can all stay there one night for the races.

I have heard a lot of exciting things about your club and Poker Run...I can't wait till the fourth!!! Are the condos where you can see the race from? The Westin will be the a great place to see the Kilos on Friday....Barkley

Hey! the westin will be the poker run headquarters and will be the place to be thurs and friday. the kilo runs will be in front of the hotel. the race will be in the ocean on sat and sun and you will be able to get condos there to view them or you can stay at the westin and ride to the beach. the apba is going to have a nice area setup to view! the poker run rate is avail for participants at the westin and will be avail monday june 3rd for you to call in. their number is 912-201-2000. will keep updated as more info comes in the poker runs forum. thanks... Hey Russ,just call the Westin,they qouted $229,she never heard of the races. Help!

you need to call the westin on or after monday june 3rd to get the rate. we just signed the contract today and they said it would not be in the sys till monday. let me know if i can help w/ anything...Russ
