Isn't the TUFF 21 running 100+ mph with a 300x? It probably won't handle rough conditions as well as the others, but I doubt any of the other boats can touch it when it's flat.

Your weight minimum is the problem here. If I were to race in any kind of water conditions with those rules, I would build myself an ultra light weight TUFF 28 (vacuum infused). It would fit into your weight limit and out handle everything that was shorter than it in any conditions.

Remember, with rules like you have and everything else considered equal, you want the longest boat at the same weight as the others.

That TUFF 28 is one sweet boat. ^^

Didn't that thing run 95mph the first time out with a single 525?

We have 2 class ( class A and class C )

Class A : minimum length is 28 ft - minimum weight 5000 Lbs after the race (with everything such as engine, accessories and propellers) - minimum power is 400 hp ( outboard engine only )

Class C : minimum length is 23 ft - minimum weight 3080 Lbs after the race (with everything such as engine, accessories and propellers) - maximum power is 300 hp ( outboard engine only )

OK, so no problem, C class with a TUFF 28. We can make a single outboard powered version that weighs less than 3080lbs and you will have it all.
Cost a little more though.
