So true. Many of us buy up to what we can afford and try getting the most for our money. Working our way from a 22 to a 29 then finally a used 38 as in my case. Now that I have "MY" perfect offshore boat, I plan on keeping it for a long time. Down the road she will get a freshen up on the interior and maybe even some new color and graphics. I am sure I will eventually put another whole boat's value into my used boat but in the end, it will be distinctly mine! That is the beauty of restoring and reviving an older boat. You can eventually have something as original and cool as if you custom ordered a new boat from a manufacturer.
