We ran 127 but on the video it was 126. There was probably a little more to be had but I did not want to beat on the motor. We had 4 more props in the truck to try but the customer was only looking for 110-115 so we were happy.

And to be totally honest, the dyno number from Precision Marine was 832 or 837 HP at 6200. I have the dyno sheet at the shop but can't remember which it was.

Just curious here, but how can that boat run those speeds on 200 hp less than any other 26' cat ?

Must be one of the most efficient hulls at the moment .
Thought a Nordic Thor cat was a fast hull also with single power ?
Didn,t that Nordic run 92 MPH with 525 EFI ?

It has a lot to do with the hull design. Our bottom is significantly different then anything else out there in the 22-30' size range and even most of the bigger cats. We did not "copy" anybody's bottom design. Instead we went with a complete CAD/5-axis plug which enabled us to do things differently with compression and aero lift. We have also learned a few things in the past year with regards to setup and CG that allowed us to pick up more speed over what we were already able to do.

Awesome. Looks like huuuge fun!

According to Dustin Whipple hes never seen a Teague 800 not make substantially more than 800 ponies. Bob has soo much r&D into that combo its silly. Its actually carb approved now which is no small feat at all.

Enjoy and keep the vid coming!

Stripp congratulations on those speeds, your boats are awesome. I bet your boats are the fastest single engine boats in there class.
