I would have ran the cockpit sole out past the motor a ways.

I would take all the decals off the engine cover and alter the shape in some way and paint it the color of the boat.

I had some boats planned for a fish farm where they had to work close and keep the prop out of harms way.

Its easier to push dead hookers off the back.
