Default Been busy this winter on minor upgrades to the CC

Bought this '00 Scarab Sport in August, and used it until it was too cold. Then it was minor upgrade time.

After:

Some changes aren't real noticeable, so here is the list:
10" Garmin chartplotter
Garmin sounder
New VHF & AM/FM ant
Tilt helm
Steering cylinder
re-finished lower part of motors
TFXtreme 33C cables
Livorsi Throttles
Blue bezels, cup holders, wheel, trim tab plate
GPS Speedo
Pioneer stereo w/ remote
JL MHD600/4 & MHD750 amps
3 JL 10" woofers
JL component speakers
different boot stripe
New lower and tinted windshield
Cleaned it up proper like
Cleaned up messy wiring

The best part - I found lots of these items for cheap on the net. Most were brand new sealed parts that the buyer never used. I didn't spend more than $2K!

Great job as usual. Remember you wanted a simple/easy boat you didn't have to sweat over all the time........what happened?

Didn't sweat over it. This was fun stuff, and it beats sitting on couch watching TV. I wanted to get away from the maintenance, washing/waxing, fear of damaging paint, HAVING to fix engines, HAVING to repair this or that.

I got the CC where I want it, and now it is time to use it and have fun.

Looks good Bill - I do wish sometimes that I had a more everyday boat.

HAHA - that's my exact point. I can hit a golfball to where we anchor out, yet I have to deal with the CIG every weekend!!

4 hours of prep/clean up for a 30 second ride!
