Check this link out from back in the day, was my first restoration of a 25' Carver that I took to the Bahamas twice. Thus is where I created the OSO name of
Mr. Bravo III. Stupid I know, but i was young then. Can not change it now. I was one of the few first 200 of OSO when it started.
Very insightfull to say the least. Then I went on to a 390 searay that I bought and traveled from Chicago, ill to florida down the Miss' river. then i bought the Bertram 38 while I owned the Sea Ray EC 390. two many boats. Wow!.
But all I have now is B38.
Kurt

Beautiful boat. I love the simple, classic, and timeless lines.

BTW>>> How did these boats do in competition?

Darrell.

Well done Kurt and nice article Matt.

Kurt, we are looking forward to seeing you and the boat in the Sept Don Aronow Memorial Around Long Island Marathon. Bring it back for a run on it's old hometown waters.

BTW, these boats did very well in competition back in the day. Most boats had 24 degree vees and the Bertrams had 22 degrees. That small difference made them a very fast boat in fairly calm water.....they were no slouches in the rough either.

Thank you, Charlie.

You are on my call list next week for your most recent project.

I really had a great love affair with this boat. She was amazing. I sold it to a buyer in the middle east in 2009. I hope he has as much fun with it as I did.....he paid enough...
